Included in the Contemporary Collection of Officine Panerai, Luminor Chrono Daylight Watch, with its two models referred to as PAM 00250 and PAM 00251, is an extremely accurate timepiece that presents some of the most attractive features in terms of design.
The case of these models measures 44 mm in diameter and it's crafted from brushed stainless steel. The case is equipped with the Officine Panerai patented device for protecting the crown and is also accompanied on its right lateral side by two pushers to adjust the settings of the chronograph. The bezel is engraved with a tachymeter scale, making of this watch the perfect diving instrument for those preoccupied with such sports. Although the case back and case top are made of sapphire crystal, the mechanism is more than safe when diving, due to its case construction and to its shock absorption system.
The Officine Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight Watch embraces a contemporary and trendy design, being characterized by sporty lines and masculine features. The difference between Officine Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight PAM 00250 and Officine Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight PAM 00251 is reflected in the color of the dial, the first model has a black dial, while the latter a white dial. Both dials feature the same functions : traditional functions of hour, minute and second, a tachymeter scale, a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock, flyback chronograph with two counters shown in the two sub-dials located at 3 o'clock and respectively, 6 o'clock and another sub-dial for the seconds. The dial presents only one over-sized Arabic numeral, at 12 o'clock and also an inscription with the name of the watch: Luminor Panerai Daylight.
The movement equipping the new Officine Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight Watch is C.O.S.C. certified and was exclusively developed by Officine Panerai in its ateliers from Switzerland. Defined as the Panerai OP XII Caliber, this movement provides 46 hours of power resistance and 100 meters water resistance.
This watch is a sporty-modern with its alligator leather strap and its hand-sewn with white thread. The model PAM 00251 has a dark-brown strap matching its ivory dial, while the PAM 00250 a black leather strap, matching the black dial. The harmonious design of the watch makes it more elegant.
